 Shrove Tuesday.

 On shrove Tuesday Miss B gave us pancakes with whipped cream and golden syrup and we all got to have 3 each.  We also learned what the British people do on Shrove Tuesday. 

On Shrove Tuesday the women run down the street with a pancake in their frying pans and they flip it 3 times before they can cross the finish line.  The people of the United Kingdom celebrate Shrove Tuesday because Shrove Tuesday is the day before Lent begins.

2. Maui was born with demigod powers and his parents had special powers just like Maui.

3. The treaty of waitangi was signed in 1840 by the maori, the british translated it it to moari and english.

In Room Four we have been learning about what media is. We are learning about  media so we can know more about it and it is part of our Cyber smart learning.

It was hard to get the right text and to get it to make sense.

I also found it surprising to learn that there are so many types of media.

Film Festival Commenting.

In room four we are learning to write quality blog comments. I learnt that quality blog comments need to be positive, thoughtful and helpful. We watched previous Manaikalani film festival entries and made notes about them. We turned these notes into quality blog comments. We practised making quality blog comments on different schools blogs.

We made a DLO which had comments about different aspects of the films we watched. You can read those comments on the slide that is embedded below.

 

I found this easy because all I had to do was type, copy and paste and press buttons.
